- 40 hours per week – rotational shift patterns between the hours of 6am and 10:30pm (including some weekends)
- Driving licence and own transport required
We’re excited to be recruiting for a motivated Warehouse Team Leader to help facilitate the smooth running of daily operations within our client’s bustling warehouse!
In this role, you will be managing and motivating a team of 8-10 warehouse operatives, providing coaching, and supporting their continuous development.
Daily duties will include:
- Setting productivity targets and motivating the team to meet or surpass them
- Responsible for all aspects of performance management including conducting disciplinary meetings when required
- Utilising planning tools to ensure smooth operations and identify potential issues
- Responsible for absence management, recording holiday and sickness
- Conducting appraisals and setting development/training targets
- Ensuring targets and SLAs are achieved and maintained
- Responsible for updating internal systems and HR databases
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations
Skills and experience required:
- Previous experience in a similar warehouse management role
- Proven experience of meeting strict deadlines and expectations
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Own transport is essential
