Our client, a large and well-respected public-sector provider based on Bristol, is looking for an organised Training and Assurance Manager to join their busy team. This role will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the delivery of training for new starters and existing staff.
Due to the nature of this role and the industry, experience of working in cleaning and catering services within a supervisory role is required.

This Training and Assurance Manager role is incredibly varied, with key responsibilities including:
- Overseeing and delivering training for new and existing team members
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs through audits and feedback from supervisors
- Supporting and advising managers and supervisors in developing their teams’ competency levels
- Working closely with Facilities Managers to coordinate and monitor attendance at all essential training sessions
- Maintaining oversight of electronic training records, generating reports as needed to track progress, compliance, and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborating with managers to facilitate and review risk assessments
- Overseeing compliance with role-specific essential training
- Supporting and mentoring apprentices, ensuring they receive appropriate exposure to learning and developmental opportunities
- Supporting and coordinating health and safety efforts
Due to the nature of this Training and Assurance Manager role, previous experience within a similar role is essential. The successful candidate will also have experience of training techniques to suit all learning styles, along with the ability to teach in a range of settings.
