As a Reconciliations, Banking & Corporate Actions Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day line management of the team, ensuring exceptional service delivery for clients and third parties.
Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will have a strong understanding of FCA regulations and CASS (particularly CASS 6 and 7).
Daily duties to include:
- Daily management of Recs & Banking and Corporate Actions teams including staff development and training, as well as ensuring KPIs and SLAs are met consistently
- Daily internal and external client money reconciliations and investigation
- Fulfilling client instructions including cheque processing and banking, corporate action processing, distribution processing, and cash interest processing within expected timescales
- Handling escalated queries or complaints, liaising with colleagues to reach a resolution
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal processes
- Supporting, implementing, and managing the risk management process within the team
- Supporting with recruitment activities as required
Required skills and experience:
- Previous financial services experience is essential
- Previous leadership experience
- Knowledge of CASS (particularly CASS 6 and 7)
- Excellent interpersonal, organisation, and communication skills
