Part Time Fundraising Manager

Our client is an amazing charity that makes an incredible difference to carers across Bristol and South Gloucestershire. They are now looking for an experienced Fundraising Manager to join their friendly team!

The Fundraising Manager will be responsible for significantly increasing annual non-statutory income through successful Trust and Foundation grant bids and will lead on the strategic planning, implementation, and delivery of a fundraising programme to support this. 

Duties will include:

  • Identifying prospective funders and scheduling grant bids, with an initial focus on Trusts and Foundations
  • Developing and delivering a fundraising programme to secure and nurture funders
  • Researching a portfolio of compelling projects and proposals to appeal to prospective funders
  • Writing and submitting engaging grant bids, ensuring key deadlines are met
  • Managing relationships with current funders
  • Working with the Comms team to create target fundraising communications and the Finance team to confirm proposed budgets within bids
  • Developing regular reporting on income generation and reporting on fundraising activities to the SMT
  • Supporting ad hoc statutory bid application writing
  • Adhering to best practice in fundraising, ensuring all legal standards are met
  • Developing other income generation streams in time, including Individual, Community, and Corporate giving

Due to the nature of this role, previous experience of successfully generating income through successful Trust and Foundation bid applications is required.
