Are you an experienced HR professional who enjoys providing hands-on support to business leaders?

Are you looking for a role where you can lead and influence the development of policy and governance across the organisation.

Our client is recruiting for a HR Advisor & HR Policy Lead to join their friendly team!

You’ll be supporting the full employee lifecycle as well as maintaining HR policies and recommending policy improvements to ensure a positive working environment and a strong company culture.

Key duties will include:

  • Providing expert HR guidance to stakeholders and managers throughout the business
  • Collating and analysing HR metrics to support decision-making
  • Reviewing and drafting HR policies
  • Recommending policy improvements and supporting the rollout of policy updates
  • Coordinating HR meetings, preparing agendas and minute-taking
  • Providing administrative support to the People Team
  • Developing policy guidance documents and performance review materials

Experience and skills required:

  • Previous experience of working within a varied HR function
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures and current employment law
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience)
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
