Our client, a trusted and rapidly growing commercial facilities contractor, is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their busy team!
You’ll need to hit the ground running, so strong experience in a similar Finance Manager position is required. Experience using Xero and QuickBooks is essential as you will be supporting the integration of Xero.
Duties will include:
- Preparing monthly management accounts for review by external Accountant
- Supporting the implementation and integration of Xero
- Maintaining the General Ledger up to Trial Balance including month-end journals, accruals, and depreciation
- Completing regular bank reconciliations along with credit card and supplier statement reconciliations
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Managing the payment of supplier invoices including requesting missing documentation
- Processing weekly and monthly payroll for 60 employees
- Calculating employee pension contributions and statutory payroll deductions
- Maintaining accurate staff absence records for payroll purposes
About you:
- Previous experience as a Finance Manager in an SME
- AAT Qualified
- Experience using QuickBooks and expert knowledge of Xero
