Finance Manager

  • Monday – Friday (40 hours per week)

Our client, a trusted and rapidly growing commercial facilities contractor, is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their busy team!

You’ll need to hit the ground running, so strong experience in a similar Finance Manager position is required. Experience using Xero and QuickBooks is essential as you will be supporting the integration of Xero.

Duties will include:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts for review by external Accountant
  • Supporting the implementation and integration of Xero
  • Maintaining the General Ledger up to Trial Balance including month-end journals, accruals, and depreciation
  • Completing regular bank reconciliations along with credit card and supplier statement reconciliations
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns
  • Managing the payment of supplier invoices including requesting missing documentation
  • Processing weekly and monthly payroll for 60 employees
  • Calculating employee pension contributions and statutory payroll deductions
  • Maintaining accurate staff absence records for payroll purposes

About you:

  • Previous experience as a Finance Manager in an SME
  • AAT Qualified
  • Experience using QuickBooks and expert knowledge of Xero
