This is a fantastic opportunity to join a regional business with real plans for success. It’s an exciting period of growth for the business and the Field Sales Manager is a key role within the leadership team.
The job holder will manage, train, nurture and develop the sales team and will take overall responsibility for the new business channels.
Based from home – ideally within the Bristol, Gloucester, Swindon or Bath region – you’ll head up the team and lead from the front. Managing your own area and generating new business through the full cycle of sales activities; you’ll be rewarded for bringing your own new clients on board. Alongside this, you’ll oversee the daily plans for the field sales team of 5 and will work closely with them to ensure they deliver on their targets of business development activity.
You’ll spend regular days with each member of your team, whether that be on the road or working from the office in Bristol – and it will be up to you to manage your own diary to maximise your time and expertise.
The regional Field Sales Executives cover the following regions:-
- Bristol
- Swindon & Wiltshire
- Cardiff & Newport
- Wales
- Weston Super Mare, Taunton & Bridgwater
As the company grows in line with new client wins and increased revenue, this role is planned to develop further. With less emphasis on generating business and more time spent managing your team – you’ll lead a busy and high-achieving sales team.
Required key skills and experience:-
- Strong field sales and business development experience
- Superb people management skills and a positive, driven outlook
- Excellent time management, organisation and planning skills
- A full driving licence; able and willing to travel frequently in this role
- Excellent communication skills and the natural flair to build rapport and relationships with clients
- Experience of working with senior decision makers
