Dealing Team Leader

Our client is going through an exciting period of change, and this is a great time to join them as a Dealing Team Leader!

This role is essential in ensuring the efficient running of the team and would suit someone with previous management experience in the financial services sector. You will be overseeing the day-to-day management of the team, ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed timescales.

Responsibilities include:

  • Motivating staff and encouraging ongoing development and growth
  • Delivering on both team and individual targets
  • Allocating tasks to achieve an effective workflow
  • Working with management to ensure department SLAs and KPIs are met
  • Conducting 1-2-1s, appraisals, and individual training
  • Handling escalated queries or complaints through to resolution
  • Responsible for trading duties including daily trading controls and investigation, transaction reporting, and contract note processing/verification

Skills and experience required:

  • Experience and knowledge of financial services
  • A relevant certification/qualification is ideal
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
