Costing Administrator

Working within the construction and facilities management sector, our client is looking for a strong and analytical administrator to join their team.

With responsibility for the analysis of costs throughout the business, you will be interpreting accounting information in order to produce reports for the management team.

Duties will include:

  • Running weekly cost analysis reports and split out by project and profit centre
  • Creating weekly summary report for managers and directors
  • Liaising with account managers to understand work in progress for each project and to ensure all billing is completed on a timely basis
  • Carry out additional ad hoc administration tasks to review projects, understand costs and losses
  • Handling requests from account managers and the billing team for cost journals and moving costs between jobs

This role sits within the invoicing and costing team and would suit someone with some finance or accounts administration experience.  You will need a keen eye for detail and a head for figures.  You’ll be super organised as the success of this role depends on keeping on top of the costs of the business and in your ability to follow up on prior reports etc.
