Do you have strong analytical skills with a critical thinking mindset?
Our client is looking to welcome several Corporate Credit Underwriters to their friendly team!
This role is responsible for evaluating high-value credit applications and making decisions whether to approve finance applications. You’ll be ensuring compliance with business and industry regulations.
Other duties to include:
- Analysing customer documentation, credit data, and financial statements
- Completing credit analysis and issuing credit opinion for £1m+ applications
- Registering all new customers on internal systems
- Maintaining records of all aspects of application decisions
- Updating procedures in line with risk, regulatory, and compliance parameters
Skills required include:
- A strong background in finance is essential
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and engagement skills
- Sound IT knowledge including office applications
