Our client is a premier hospitality and sporting venue, and we’re excited to be supporting their recruitment of a new Commercial Manager. As Commercial Manager, you will be taking the lead in generating sales for their hospitality and event bookings, and advertising and sponsorship agreements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new relationships, managing existing relationships, and increasing advertising and sponsorship. Our client is based in an easily accessible area of North Bristol with onsite parking.
Duties of the Commercial Manager to include:
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive commercial strategy
- Identifying and securing new revenue opportunities across sponsorship, advertising, hospitality, venue hire, and community programmes
- Improving and growing existing revenue streams
- Developing sponsorship proposals and tailoring partnership packages
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with local businesses, sponsors, and commercial partners
- Coordinating and promoting events, ensuring all events run smoothly
- Managing commercial budget, forecasting, and reporting
- Producing promotional content for commercial products
- Acting as key point of contact for commercial enquiries
Due to the nature of this Commercial Manager role, proven business development experience is required and a passion for hospitality and/or sports would be advantageous. This is alongside the ability to work independently, excellent attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
