Commercial Account Handler

  • 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Stratford-upon-Avon
  • Hybrid working – 3 days from home and 2 in the office per week

If you are an experienced account handler with a strong understanding of some (if not all!) of the following commercial insurance products, then this could be the next challenge for you – Casualty, Property, Liability, Contractors All Risk, Professional Indemnity, Freight Liability, Marine Cargo, and Cyber.

Duties will include:

  • Managing a caseload of new business submissions across a broad range of commercial insurance products that fall outside the company’s portfolio
  • Handling policies ranging from SMEs to large corporate accounts, premiums up to £1.2m
  • Taking ownership of the full new business case lifecycle
  • Liaising with agents, suppliers, and insurers to deliver tailored solutions, assessing risk, and negotiating terms and premiums
  • Supporting the acquisition, onboarding, and retention of customers
  • Delivering results to meet client needs and business goals
  • Ensuring compliance with governance frameworks including GDPR and the authority matrix

Skills and experience required:

  • Experience in a similar account handler role with knowledge of a range of commercial insurance products, ideally to include Casualty, Property, and CAR
  • Progress towards Cert CII or Dip CII desirable
