Do you have experience managing a business support team in a professional services environment?

Do you have strong working knowledge of Excel?

Our client, an award-winning international law firm, is looking for a Billing Administrator to join their Revenue team to deliver a more pro-active billing and support service to the firm’s Partners and Fee Earners. The Billing Administrator will be involved in various aspects of the working capital cycle, including revenue assistance, credit control, bill production and dispatch, and e-bill management.

Key duties and responsibilities will include;

  • Providing a combined work in progress (WIP) and billing service to Partners and Fee Earners
  • Billing – preparation, distribution, and compliance with SLAs
  • E-billing – validation and submission against client deadlines
  • Query resolution – via a direct or shared mailbox, being proactive in escalation
  • Data integrity – ensuring correct data items are captured for efficient billing i.e. rates, references
  • Undertaking general ad hoc responsibilities as required.

Due to the nature of this Billing Administrator role, previous experience in a finance function in a professional services environment is required. Knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules and VAT for law firm billing would also be ideal, but is not essential.
