We are proud to be supporting our client, an award-winning estate administration and probate specialist, in the recruitment of an Assistant Team Manager to join their operations team. If you are experienced in estate administration case handling, but you also have management experience or you are an aspiring manager, then this dual role could be for you – offering a rare opportunity to combine your technical expertise with leadership responsibilities.
Alongside the management of a reduced caseload of estates from instruction to distribution, you will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing case progression of team members during any absence. This is alongside playing a pivotal role in supporting the Team Manager with the day-to-day management of the team to deliver operational excellence and revenue targets.

Key duties and responsibilities will include;
- Managing a caseload of estates and overcoming barriers to ensure their timely completion
- Ensuring the continuity of service during absences to maintain service levels and meet performance standards
- Monitoring workflow and completing quality and technical checks
- Dealing with technical referrals where required from team members, offering guidance and oversight
- Identifying issues requiring escalation and liaising with the relevant stakeholder/s
- Driving learning and development within the team through ongoing coaching and training
- Assisting in ensuring team members maintain the appropriate level of technical competence
- Embedding operational changes that support business strategy and continuous improvement
- Acting as a role model for the team, championing a culture of outstanding client service
